Actually in witchraft (Black magic) they do use a lot of walk-in. A person’s consciousness would be taken to the underworld, where most likely they are queens or are needed in other underworlds to do some of their stuff.

Then they replace the main consciousness of this person with a dummy spirit. A lot of people who were in these places explained how they end up seeing someone else inside their body while they are deep under the ocean.
