A Prelude.

A couple of weeks ago, I was in a deep meditation state, then suddenly, I saw a variety of versions of me, it was literally a universe of myself, some of me were carpenters, some were teachers, doctors, homeless. The whole city was made out of these different versions of me. At the time I did not know what it meant. But about a week ago, I was facing a writer’s mental block, I was unmotivated to write anything or do anything productive for that matter, I ran out of energy where I simply wanted to sit down and watch TV.

Then I remembered the vision from my meditation, I said what if I am actually all these versions, all I have to do is to shift myself between them and find one that suits me. So, I visualized myself in a reality where I am energized, motivated, and full of inspiration. I did this for less than five minutes. Then I sat down quietly, and about a few minutes my entire mental, emotional and psychological state had changed, I went back to my work desk full of energy to continue my work. I was amazed at how simple it was but very effective. I went ahead to try on other little things to my surprise it worked.


We can get stuck in procrastination, laziness, indecision, addiction, and so on. The result is that we slow down our productivity levels, and sometimes we cannot accomplish much of anything.

We all know the key to achieving big or small goals is focus and concentration. If we can’t maintain a certain level of commitment to what we are doing, then we don’t accomplish anything.

Maybe you can’t wake up in time, always feeling that you want to sleep a few more minutes, or you always procrastinate and give lots of justified excuses. It all comes down to failure and unsuccessfulness. So, let’s deal with that, shall we?

Today I am excited to share a simple but very effective trick that you can use anywhere and all the time whenever you feel out of phase. It doesn’t matter whether you believe in parallel realities or not, the key is to participate with a clear and present mind. This simple mind technique follows these principles:

  • The moment of power is now. 
    This is the first and the most powerful principle in self-transformation, because you can only execute a real change or an action in the present moment, not in a minute, not tomorrow not in the future. You are in full control at this present moment and that is where the real action can happen, so you act now and not later. This we will regard as a quantum zone. This is because in the present moment we are supplied with an unlimited amount of choices to make. If one choice doesn’t work, we can always make another one.
  • Always flow with the current and not against it. 
    Instead of fighting against the current, we use the natural rhythms and cycles to leverage the natural rhythms of life to work for us instead of fighting them. Instead of trying to change the situation, make the most of it so that your body is happy and you are also happy.
  • Everything happens inside your mind. 
    This second principle implies that it doesn’t matter how big the problem appears to be, or how complicated the situation is, the fact is that perception can change your reality, and it is how you have accepted your reality. Two persons can look at the same tree with different perceptions. A carpenter would see lumber, a herbalist would see herbs and an environmentalist would see oxygen production. In the end, the reality is objective and a potential one, not an ultimate truth. So when you change your mind, the world around you will change too.
  • The mind doesn’t differentiate between imagination and reality. Hypnosis has been used for centuries and it is still used today. Through hypnosis, people can quit smoking, lose weight, get out of their addiction, and even have spontaneous healing. This happens because our mind can’t tell the difference between physical reality and imaginary reality. So, when you go on a road trip, eat ice cream, your mind creates that reality for your body to experience it as real on the chemical level. 
    A lot of athletes get involved in mental exercises where they imagine working in the gym, the interesting thing is the muscles involved in such activities would build just by using imagination. Another good example that you can do it yourself is, “Imagine you have a nice yellow lemon, take a knife and slice it in half” What will happen is your would instantly begin to salivate, because your mind doesn’t discriminate.

What is this mental technique good for?

I recommend using it only for personal transformation, for example,

  • Improve self-confidence.
  • Get rid of social anxiety.
  • Dealing with addiction.
  • Increase confidence in public speaking.
  • Getting rid of procrastination.

The game is very simple.

  • First, decide what reality you wish to teleport yourself into.
  • Get yourself in a comfortable place, close your eyes, take several deep breaths and relax (this is an option but will drastically boost the outcome).
  • Visualize you are in a quantum zone. In this zone, time doesn’t exist. Therefore, you have an unlimited number of choices to make, you can move across parallel realities, you can move across timelines and come back.
  • Then see different realities branching out of your current situation based on the number of choices you can make.
  • Instead of taking the short or quickest path, take the desirable one. Take the reality that you want to indulge yourself in.
  • Take your time and effort to imagine yourself in that reality that you have jumped into. (The more you involve your five senses in your imagination, the more effective the end result will be.
  • Visualize yourself emerging into a reality where you have already achieved what you desired, and accept and take this as your present moment reality.

Let’s use an example where you can’t get out of bed, you feel lazy, unmotivated, and groggy.

The first thing you want is to wake up energized and alert with a clear mind.

You imagine yourself standing in the present moment which is the quantum zone. In a quantum zone, you can alternate, go back and forth. And other versions of yourself branching out from the present moment based on different choices that you are about to make. Two realities branch out from your current reality, one you continue to sleep in while the other you wake up in.

The key here is not to run against the current but to use it to your advantage. So, the first choice you wake up from your sleep, you will probably be sluggish, slow, and grumpy. Then the second version is you slept as long as you needed that rest until you felt the rest was good enough for you.

So, now because you are in a quantum zone, where you can jump across parallel realities, you can integrate realities and travel across timelines. At this moment, you can simply jump to a time when you had enough sleep. You can even imagine you had a warm bath and did anything to boost your energy. And you get involved with Anything that tells your mind to let go of that laziness.

You imagine feeling the effects of feeling rejuvenated, energized, and active, then you wake up in that energized state.

You will be surprised at how effective this mental technique is.

The reason it works is that your mind controls your brain, then your brain controls your body, with all the hormones, blood flow, muscle movements, and so forth.
