Seven Major Chakras & Manifestation of seven Auras

What are Chakras?

In this article, we will explore what are chakras and the 7 major chakras. The chakras are connections between the physical and Auric bodies. They are situated in the spinal column but their reflections can also be perceived as whirling discs in front of the body. in most cases, chakras can be detected by feeling them, use of our hands, and other metaphysical items such as pendulums.

Chakras are energy vortices that are located at specific points along the body. These vortices serve to connect and ground a soul to the seven aspects of man and their respective dimensions. They also allow the input and output of energy in regard to our aural field. They comprise the foundation of our electromagnetic system and dictate our health and ability to fully manifest on this earth. These energy centers interact with the energy of other beings.

In addition to the seven major chakras, there are also numerous minor chakras connected to and governed by them. For example, each palm has a chakra at the center of it, even each tip of the finger has minor chakras. However, these minor chakras are not discussed as much because they are related to occult powers and supernatural healing. Some people believe that when activated, they will make a person superhuman. For example, Jesus used his hands to heal, whereas other sources suggest that during healing there was light emanating from his palms.

Besides the relationship between health and the chakras, chakras are multi-faceted portals or energy vortices. They also represent the psychological aspect of a person, especially from a kabbalist point of view. This means if a person improves their character, their chakras and aura will also change.

Why are Chakras important?

Imbalance in one or more of the chakras can lead to disease, struggle, sickness, and lack of fullness.

Balancing these points aligns us and activates the life force (Qui, Kundalini). This allows us to live life to a much fuller and richer extent. Brings happiness and stability

Chakras take in and release energy. They interact with the energy fields of other beings and places. Keeping these points flowing and bright will prevent you from being affected or influenced by negative energy. This also prevents you from having your energy siphoned or needing to siphon energy from others (also known as chording or psychic vampirism)

Imbalance & Balance

It’s extremely critical that we figure out which areas have been thrown off balance. Even though these chakra centers operate on an energetic level, this energy affects us physically in so many ways

There are two ways that we experience imbalance within a chakra center. The first way is through under-activity and shutting down, which essentially closes a chakra point. The second way is through over-activity, excess, and stressing a chakra in unhealthy ways. Imbalances can easily be seen when physical ailments manifest. But the goal is to not let it get to that point

There are so many ways that we can heal our chakra points and bring them into equilibrium. Colorwork, meditation, exercise, food, chanting/singing, aromatherapy, and thought-forms are all modalities to accomplish this.

The Seven Major Chakra Points.

We will now move through each of the major seven chakra points, starting from the ground up, moving from lower to higher. This will include.

● The Root Chakra (Muladhara)

● The Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)

● The Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)

● The Heart Chakra (Anahata)

● The Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)

● The Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)

● The Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

Seven Major Chakras & Meaning

Seventh Chakra — Muladhara Chakra — Base or Root Chakra

“The Sanskrit word moola means ‘root or foundation’ and that is precisely what this chakra is. Mooladhara is at the root of the chakra system and its influences are at the root of our whole existence. In tantra, Mooladhara is the seat of kundalini, the basis from which the possibility of higher realization arises.”

This chakra is the vortex that influences our foundation in life. Primarily it is linked to our survival, sense of security, and physical health and vitality. It is called the “root” chakra because it is our strongest connector to the earth, and when it’s in balance we feel rooted and stable. This chakra governs everything below the genital area and is located at the base of the spine where life force energy sits. This includes the feet, legs, skeletal system, blood, teeth, and muscles. From this center springs our ability to safely and effectively maneuver within the physical planes. It is the chakra that encourages us to embrace the physicality and love of our bodies.

  • IMBALANCES:
When our root is out of balance, we tend to feel insecure about our place in the world and our purpose. When imbalanced, we may have difficulty manifesting what we truly need or want into physicality. Often imbalances in this area are characterized by being overly fearful and mistrusting of the world. When this chakra is under-active or shut down, we may not feel like we can handle responsibilities or certain tasks. When overactive or expressed in an unhealthy way, we may rely on material goods or food for comfort. Unhealthy lifestyles come from an unbalanced root chakra
  • How To Balance Your Root Chakra
One of the most effective ways we can align this center is by reclaiming our health and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Pay attention to what you eat, as this will be key in determining how this chakra functions. Your body and allow you to feel better and more secure. These are both keys to thriving within the physical realm. When we eat toxic substances and allow our bodies to stagnate, we pollute ourselves and our energy centers. Detoxing is another helpful method. Spend time in nature, with your body touching the earth. Earth is the element most closely associated with the root chakra, and it can bring tremendous healing.

Sixth Chakra — Swadhisthana Chakra — Sacral Chakra.

The sixth chakra primarily governs our sexuality and emotions. Our ability to express and create is connected to our life force. Through this chakra, we experience pleasure, passion, and joy. Through the sacral chakra spring the waters of life. It is found in the genitals, pelvic area, hips, bladder, and kidneys. This is the energy center that allows us to feel safe and expressive when it comes to our inner world. It also allows us to feel safe expressing our emotions to others and accepting them for what they are without judgment.

  • IMBALANCES:
There are several ways that imbalances in this chakra manifest in daily life. If we are closing off this center, we may have an inability to express emotion, engage in intimacy, or express our sexual nature. When this center is open, but being misused, it manifests as being insatiable or over-exaggerating aspects of the self. There may be a constant hunger and need for sexual validation. Emotional or sexual manipulation. Imbalances in the sacral chakra stifle our creative flow and cause us to “dry up”. This also makes it difficult to connect with others on an emotional level.
  • How To Balance Your Sacral Chakra
One of the keys to activating this chakra is through release, flow, and allowing yourself to fully express emotions and sexuality in a way that is natural and healthy for you. This happens on a very personal level at first. Examine what your true emotions are and allow those to flow through you uninhibited. This can take place through something as simple as journaling. Working with the element of water is a very effective way to heal the sacral chakra.
Take baths, spend time swimming, and otherwise engage with this element. Drink more water! Practice self-love and self-intimacy. This is the most effective way to overcome emotional and sexual frigidity. Take yourself on dates, self-pleasure, say “I love you” to your reflection in the mirror. When this chakra comes into balance, you will be able to flow with your emotions and expertly navigate the waters of life

Fifth Chakra — Manipura Chakra — Navel or Solar Plexus

This chakra is all about action, motivation, and presence in life. It influences our personality, personal authentic power, how confident we feel, and our ability to dedicate ourselves to and complete tasks. Therefore, it is closely tied to our self-esteem and self-worth. This center is located right where the belly button and digestive organs are, including the intestines, stomach, pancreas, and liver. It is also closely related to the element of fire, creating momentum and forward movement in life. We can learn a lot about this chakra by examining the symbolic implications of the fire element. This chakra is also tied to the realm of the mind and the mental aspects.

  • IMBALANCES:
When there are imbalances in this chakra, it usually takes the form of stagnation, indecision, or misguided willpower. We may become too headstrong and egotistical, and completely ignorant of the consequences our choices have on everything. When this chakra is closed down, there is an inability to move forward in life. There may also be an inability to be productive and active in life. We may ignore responsibilities and delegate our time to activities that don’t have true meaning or aren’t beneficial. It is also possible that you will avoid challenges and further growth.
  • How To Balance Your Solar Plexus Chakra:
An effective way to balance this chakra is to heal the gut since the two are directly correlated. This can be done through eating live, fermented foods, taking probiotics, and cutting down on sugar. Foster the positive exercise of your will and engage in tasks that serve your higher self and greater purpose. Explore the element of fire. Sunbathing is a good way to activate this chakra (make sure your navel is exposed). Study the flame of a candle or campfire. Do things that get your internal fire going. Stimulate yourself mentally. Challenge yourself and explore as much as you can. Most of all, be aware of every choice you make and what effect the choice is likely to have

The Fourth Chakra — Anahata Chakra — Heart Chakra

The heart chakra is located in the area of the heart, lungs, arms, hands, chest, breasts, and circulatory system. It governs our ability to give and receive love. Anahata creates a bridge between the three higher chakras (higher self) and three lower chakras (physical self). It deals with compassion, empathy, forgiveness, love, friendship, family, kindness, gratitude, humility, and respect. These are values we extend towards others and also towards ourselves. The heart chakra is associated with the element of air, which is embodied in our breath.

  • IMBALANCES:
Here we see imbalances manifesting as a lack of self-love, which ultimately means a lack of love towards others. There is also the inability to love unconditionally. We may have trouble being friendly or kind and often lean towards negativity as a result. A closed-off heart chakra creates a lot of issues in life. This is the main area that we connect to other people and is the seat of our interpersonal lives. When the heart chakra is not open, there will be difficulty connecting with and having compassion for others. We may not feel that we can be vulnerable and caring. As a result of ignoring our own needs, we ignore the needs of others.
  • How To Balance Your Heart Chakra
Breathing exercises are an effective way to clear and open up this area. Get outside in a natural area and fill your lungs with that clean air.
Self-love is perhaps the biggest way to overcome problems with the heart chakra. Begin nurturing yourself and speaking kindly to yourself (verbally or in thought form). This will enable you to love others.
Practice unconditional love towards everyone you meet. Be kind and gentle to those around you. Actively listen and allow yourself to be present with other people. Allow yourself to open up and be vulnerable. Massage is another effective modality to use, especially breast massage. The breasts are extensions of the heart and radiate its energy. But whole-body massage is also a wise idea since this chakra can be opened through touch.

Third Chakra — Vishuddhi Chakra — Throat Chakra

The throat chakra, as the name implies, is located in the region of the throat and shoulders. It governs our ability to express our authenticity and originality in life. It allows us to verbally communicate with other forms of life, sharing our ideas and sparking inspiration. It is the only chakra that can be physically picked up by one of the five senses (hearing). Therefore, this chakra is associated closely with the element of sound which is vibration.

  • IMBALANCES:
An imbalance typically occurs in this chakra as a result of not speaking one’s truth. It can also occur as a result of misusing the word. Using your words to manipulate others, to gossip, or to lie. These are all examples of imbalance within this chakra. An imbalance in this center can also manifest as a fear of public speaking (although this is tied into other chakras as well). You may be prone to sore throats, or even things like strep throat on the extreme end. Not speaking when you need to and neglecting to express yourself verbally will result in the accumulation of a massive amount of energy that needs to be released somewhere. When we are imbalanced in the throat chakra, we tend to end up using our verbal power for more negative purposes. Whether we’re aware of it or not
  • How To Balance Your Throat Chakra
An amazing way to get the throat chakra open and flowing is through singing, humming, or chanting. Preferably, practice all three of these whenever possible. If you aren’t speaking your truth, practice doing so. You must share your unique ideas. If you tend to dominate conversations, using your voice to get others to submit, you must step down and allow yourself to listen. Use your voice as a way to convey ideas that are important and purposeful. A really good way to get past throat chakra blockages is to get into public speaking. If that makes you anxious, or if you’re afraid of public speaking, that just means it’s even more important for you to try. Daily, use the spoken word to spread kindness and create peace.

The Second Chakra — Ajna Chakra — The Third Eye

This chakra is located between the eyebrows, at the center of the forehead. It governs our awareness, perception, psychic abilities, insight, and imagination. Through this center, we can see the truth and discern falsehoods. The third eye is the seat of our psychic abilities such as telepathy, channeling information, clairvoyance, clairaudience, the ability to see beings from other Dimensions, and many more. It allows us to awaken to our full spiritual potential. When this chakra is open, we have a knowingness and a tendency towards trusting intuition.

  • IMBALANCES:
One of the main things that keep this center shut down is the inability to accept things beyond the physical. People who are strictly left-brained, linear, rationalist thinkers tend to disregard spiritual phenomena and therefore prevent the third eye from fully activating. Another thing that hinders the third eye is over-exposure to mainstream media. Negative content distorts our ability to see clearly and impregnates this chakra with discordant thought forms. Another thing to watch out for are mind-altering substances, which can overstimulate the third eye in harmful ways. Abuse of drugs is a major cause of imbalance in this chakra center.
  • How To Balance Your Third Eye Chakra
Meditation! Through the employment of meditation, we can clear our mind’s eye of vast amounts of clutter and psychic garbage. Take steps to completely clean out this chakra so that you can become a clear channel for higher inspiration.
The sacred geometries of nature are very pleasing to our third eye, as are colors and beautiful images. Pay attention to how the content you watch affects you. Reading can be a helpful way to get our imagination flowing, which helps activate the third eye.
Creative visualization is something that can be added to meditation. Music also can assist in balancing this center. Limit mind-altering substances. There are some cases, in ritualistic settings when hallucinogenic (natural) drugs are utilized to heal specifically this center. This method should be used with caution.

First Chakra — Sahasrara Chakra — Crown Chakra

The crown chakra is located at the top of the head, connecting us to the universal source and the essence of all life. The crown chakra directs this pure, energy of the universe into the body and down through the rest of the chakras. It allows us to tap into information from our higher selves, spirit guides, angels, and other entities.

This chakra governs our knowingness and oneness. It allows us to realize that we are all one consciousness and dissolves any ideas of separation. This is also called Christ consciousness. From this center comes divine inspiration, often meant to guide us to our true purpose.

  • IMBALANCES:
Illusions of the ego are one of the primary reasons this energy center is blocked or shut down. Separation is the function of the ego, and unity is the function of this chakra, therefore they are in conflict. This can be especially challenging because our society is set up to encourage that illusion of separateness. Limiting belief systems and self-doubt are also things that will cause an imbalance in this chakra, along with fear or prejudice.
  • How To Balance Your Crown Chakra
Practice trusting yourself and in the universe. Meditation can be an immensely powerful tool for healing this chakra center. It’s also imperative to allow yourself to be present and release resistance to what’s happening (or might happen) around you. Having the clearest possible mind is going to assist you in activating this chakra. Trust your intuition and insights. To receive clear information from higher sources, we must also be grounded. Otherwise, this information may become scattered or not integrated fully. Allow yourself to assimilate intuition and intellect together

Conclusion.

We must remember that these chakra centers provide feedback and interact with one another. Therefore, an imbalance in one chakra is bound to affect the others. So, the only way to clear fully and to heal is through balancing all of them. Some of the methods described for healing specific chakras (singing to heal the throat chakra for example) can also apply to other chakras.

Most of the time, it applies to all of them in some way or another. The key is to remember that these centers talk to each other, and they are also talking to you. It’s up to you to listen to what your body and spirit are telling you. Learn to feel and tap into that information
