It used its own words and gave a name to a character.
I just wrote about this A.I. chatbot and what it means for humanity.
What I see is a significant leap forward for humanity in general. I enjoy drafting short stories; however, my weakness is editing. I like my work to be exposed to the world, but a lot of inspiration flows too quickly for me to stick with one project for a long time. That’s where I see myself using A.I. tools to get things done.
A while ago, I wrote this short story about a man who was obsessed with miracles to the point of losing his life for them. After playing with this interactive A.I. chatbot, I decided to paste an entire story and ask it to write a movie script for me.

I do not know any rules for writing movie scripts, but if you ask me, this is nothing I would never come close to. After chatting with it a bit, I learned some terms, where the INT means interior, so it made a mistake of assuming the ship is inside where it has to be replaced with “EXT. SHIP DAY”.
While it still requires guidance from experts, most of the tasks that were previously handled by hundreds of people will be handled by these algorithms.
Now imagine converting your novel into a movie. It will proceed like this:
- Upload your PDF manuscript
- A.I. reads and writes a movie script.
- It generates each character based on their attributes. By giving them their looks, and voices.
- Generate each scene based on the movie script.
- Animated characters.
- Render scenes with different camera angles
- Done.
This will probably be done in a day or so.

There are minor bugs and problems that will be fixed and guidance from real experts. However, its potential is significant. All the tech companies laying off thousands of workers is suspicious to me since they already know the impact.

You maybe had an idea that you wanted to do but didn’t have enough time or resources to do it. However, now you have the resources and time to get it done. Remember the pandemic?
