Does a Spiritual Person need Magical Amulets & Talismans?
Let’s talk about spiritual aids and the real purpose behind them.
History has it that as Christianity spread across the world, a lot of traditional ways of spirituality were distinguished, they were told that everything they do was the work of the Devil. Then as people became converts, they stop using amulets and talismans which were given to them by their shamans in fear of being called witches.
However, to my surprise in Catholicism and Christianity, they use a lot of amulets and talismans as much as the traditional beliefs.
In this modern time, a lot of traditional beliefs and cultures around the world still use some sort of amulets or talismans for various spiritual purposes.
What is the purpose of amulets and talismans?
In order to understand whether you should use these spiritual aids or not, we should first try to understand the real purposes of these spiritual aids.
If you consider yourself a spiritual person, you will then understand that everything is a vibration, and everything has a vibrational signature. Then from everything being a vibration, we can say that everything has some sort of energy which is basically its vibration.
A person has an aura which is essentially his or her energy field, Apart from just being an energy field, it is also a sensitive informational field. This informational field carries a lot of memories of experiences. They have preserved information even from past events before a person came into existence. That means there are layers and layers of information around a person.
So this aura or this surrounding energy field can also interact with another energy field around people, objects, or places. When this interaction happens a person can pick up either positive and constructive informational-vibrational-energy or a destructive one without knowing. This is true especially for people who have opened themselves up to spiritual reality.
When this happens, that’s where an amulet or talisman comes into question. Where it helps you to maintain your spiritual energies and deflect the negative energies wherever you go.
You may say, I meditate every day, or do my prayers, and so on. But do you know how many types of people you come across? or how many places do you go and collect all these negative energies without knowing? As when you meditate is like you take a shower and throwing yourself back in the mud.
A person who doesn’t believe in anything beyond the physical is not affected simply because of the power of consciousness and intention, in the spiritual realm when you don’t believe in something then it becomes true to you that it does not exist. These kinds of people might have a misfortune and believe that it is simply an accident and there is nothing more to it, then it indeed is true to them.
You should never waste your time trying to convince them otherwise they will drag you down to their reality. but those who open themselves up to spiritual realms, their reality has expanded, they begin to perceive and sense these other realities and note the exchanges of energies.
So, basically, nothing stops on the material existence for a spiritual person, that even a simple object like a pen contains an informational field around it.
What is the difference between Amulet and Talismans
There are two distinct differences between the talismans and amulets. While both can be worn or items to be placed around different corners of your living space their functions are fundamentally different.
What is an Amulet?
An amulet can be anything from a simple paper with inscriptions, a necklace, bracelet, a wall picture, an art a statue, etc for one purpose only which is for protection again malevolent spirits, evil eyes, and negative energies.
So, now you see a Christian having a cross of a crucified Jesus Christ on their wall this is an amulet, a Buddhism with a buddha statue in their house, a rosary, holy water, a bible, a picture of Mary carrying baby Jesus on their wall is also an amulet.
Basically, anything that has been blessed or enchanted by a spiritual person, either a shaman, reiki master, a monk, or a priest is an amulet. Because according to their beliefs they believe that these items after being consecrated have the power to bring protection and dispel bad energies or entities around their living space.
What is a Talisman
Magical Talismans are created to attract good health, lucky charms, attract good relationships, wealth, yield successful harvesting, hunting, and fishing, win a battle, and so on.
While amulets are created for protection, talismans are created to attract specific vibrations. Most crystals are inherently talisman because they already have a certain vibration frequency that will attract what a person wants based on the type of crystal. For example, rose quartz is a good talisman for attracting relationships and love. Besides crystals, there are also specific herbs that have specific vibrations that attract specific things.
To my surprise again, Christians and Catholics do have talismans. I was surprised to see that a priest blesses soil so that people can yield more crops, they also sell olive oil, bibles and so many other things that you place in your house to bring good fortune.

I believe it was in the book Bringers of the Dawn by Barbara Marciniak, the Pleiadians gave a good analogy that having mental abilities is like being able to walk barefoot, but when you use crystals or any other spiritual aids is like utilizing equipment like vehicles for travel which means you are amplifying your ability by leveraging the power of amulets and talismans.
