Is it Ok to Charge Money for Spiritual gifts? — Why I Don’t
Can you Monetize your spiritual gifts?
We have all thought about making money from our spiritual gifts as Psychics, Channelers, Healers, and Shamans.
First things first, let’s dissect each part. There are three components to this spiritual money-making mechanism, which are as follows:
How do we define spiritual gifts?
- The actual value of your spiritual service.
- What exactly are we exchanging?
What is a spirit anyway, and how does it differ from the physical?
Spirit is the essence of a person. It refers to the things that are non-tangible in nature, or at least cannot be quantified. So, then spirits, spirit, spiritual, and spirituality are subsets of this spectrum of non-quantified things.
Basically, when someone says, “I am spiritual,” it directly implies that their foundation or their views on life are not based on material needs or objects, but on things that are not of this world.
This spectrum of spirit is vast, as there are many spiritual realms. Additionally, a spiritual realm is an independent reality of the physical. However, the spiritual realm is the foundation of the physical world, which means all things we see in the physical world had existed in the spiritual realm first before manifesting in the physical. In other words, the physical world is only the tip of the iceberg of the spiritual realm.
Why is this so? And how do I know? Simply because every human creation must be brought into non-tangible form first before manifesting in the physical world.
The term “mind” in many spiritual communities is often confused with spirit. This is because we cannot quantify the mind, and thus our thoughts have a spiritual essence. This is because thoughts are a mere manifestation of these spiritual forces, where everything we think about revolves around our intentions.
What are spiritual gifts anyways?
There is a thin line between a spiritual gift and a spiritual ability, a gift is something that is exceptionally good. Consider art, anyone can learn to be an art, but there are artists born with this talent who are exceptionally good. The same when it comes to spiritual gifts there are spiritual abilities that anyone can learn and master it, but there are people who are spiritually talented with higher capacity than others. And exactly these spiritual gifts are what I am talking about.
Mind and body are the same.
It is true that a body will not operate without the mind, and the mind will not operate in this physical world without the body. Therefore, they appear separate but are yet one. Science tells us that the particle and the wave are one and the same, energy and material substance are one. Thus, we can conclude that spirit and the physical are parts of the larger ecosystem, forever exchanging places.
What about Money?
Money is a medium of exchange; we also use money as an accepted storage of value. Everything has a spiritual essence because that is the nature of reality. Then, because money is used to store value, various energies are stored in money. Essentially, it is not so much about the money itself, but about the circulation, energy exchange, and who you are receiving money from.
Remember that everything exists in a vibrational state, where the vibration of money can sometimes differ from yours.
I have previously discussed ‘Blood-money.’ This refers to the type of energy stored in the circulation of currency, which might affect your energetic state unknowingly.
Should we charge money for our spiritual gifts?
Now that we have addressed that, we can answer the question: Can we monetize our spiritual gifts? I have met highly spiritually gifted people with differing opinions about this subject. Some say it is important to charge money because they are exchanging services, and some say it is not important because they have been freely given.
As a shaman, this is how I approach the situation. Firstly, spiritual gifts are not physical assets that a government can tax you on. Secondly, your spiritual gifts are not something that can be acquire easily by anyone. This makes it unique talent that you’ve brought into this world. Unless you have paid to be initiated, it is only fair to charge money for it.
Christ, Buddha, and many other highly spiritually gifted individuals did not charge a penny for their service to others.
Many people would prefer to work solely with their spiritual talents and disregard the world of commerce. The reality is that most spiritual work does not provide consistent income. You might write a book expecting it to cover your bills, but it might not work as you desire. You might learn how to channel, expecting to offer readings for clients and make it your dream work, but it might not pan out.
So, when you find yourself attempting to build a career out of your spiritual gifts and it doesn’t work, it might simply not be the right path. You likely have a long way to go on your spiritual journey. There is a divine order that could be guiding you, and the corporate world might merely serve as a distraction from your spiritual growth.
So, first focus on your spiritual growth before you turn it into a service for others. Secondly, as for myself, I provide my services for free. Why? Because what I exchange with a person is more valuable than money. If they wish to support me, they will, regardless. I’ve known many traditional shamans who have been offered houses, land, vehicles, and many other things simply because they genuinely helped someone in need.
Remember that whoever seeks your help has come to you for a good reason. Also, as you help those in need, you are building a community. That’s why I share most of my information for free.
Another thing to remember is that money is just a flow of currency, and there is an abundance of it. The more you let it go, the more it will flow through you. Accept that you have the ability to allow this currency to flow through your monetary channels easily, and only take what you need at the time, without hoarding it.
