Answer: It is not so, it only means that this is another larger cosmic cycle, that certain groups of beings dwell within, it means that in one year, for example, there are no other seasons beyond four 3 month seasons and that certain crops have their life span, where certain life forms will not be compatible with the seasons of your planet, which means what is within your planet cannot go beyond these 12 months cycle.
Some crops have a life span of 3 months, which is roughly one season in a year, and that within 3 months you plant a crop, it grows from seedling to maturity stage and bears fruits, then it dies, but some trees won’t produce fruit until they are over 15 years. This does not mean the 3 months crops will not stay side by side with the super long seasonal trees, it simply means that your system cannot host super-civilization that goes beyond the length of 12,000 years, because of compatibility issues.
