What to Expect When Your Third Eye Is Opening
There are many questions about what happens when the third eye opens. For those who are curious to know what to expect when your third eye is opening here, I will explain my own personal third eye-opening experience.
I have already explained the third eye-opening exercise I have used to open my third eye, which I personally think is the easiest way by far. Besides the third eye-opening exercise I used to be a vegetarian and meditate constantly, My personal meditations I won’t share here, but there are many meditation exercises you can do to raise your energy and be in harmony with the Universe.
What are the third eye-opening symptoms?
When you open your third eye there are symptoms accompanied by it, this is my personal experience, these third eye-opening symptoms are:
- A sense of serenity; you will notice that your state of being or emotional state has changed, somehow you are calm, still with a sense of knowing. this is one of the earliest stages if there is anxiety or worries it seems to fade away.
- A sense of being in control: This is not a control freak kinda control, but you feel confident in what you do and content, when you speak you will notice people listening as you will start to speak in authority.
- Remembering more of your dreams: Most people especially those who don’t meditate on a regular basis don’t remember their dreams as much, they forget them as soon as they wake up, you will notice your dreams are vivid and clear, and sometimes you will see glimpses of future.
- Higher mental activities: If you used to find yourself lazy to learn new things, you will suddenly feel a spark of intelligence, seeking to understand things, if it is a book you will gain patience to read everything through. and a clear understanding of things.
- Insights and Intuition: When my third eye was opening, my friends used to say I am a psychic because I just knew things, If they lost something, I could find it for them, I could easily guess what they are thinking, and so on. You will notice higher insights and intuition, you will easily avoid bad things or bad choices without knowing.
These are the earliest stages that happen when the third eye opens, and just bear in mind that it usually happens in stages, the most important thing is to not stop the exercise because the moment you stop, your energy will start to deplete and you will be back to the squire 1.
What happens when the third eye opens is you begin to gain some supernatural abilities. There are supernatural abilities that manifest when your third eye is opening, and I am going to list some here:
Astral Projection
Astral projection is one of the abilities that happens when the third eye opens, this usually happens without you knowing. One day I was having a nap and suddenly I saw myself out of my body, at first I didn’t know what it was but later when I woke up I realized I have had an out-of-body experience. the more you do the exercises the more frequent these experiences will happen.
Ability to Read Others Minds — Telepathy
It was interesting because over the years I didn’t know what was happening to me, I was able to read people’s minds easily, knowing what they were thinking, their emotional state, and even the secrets they have kept from me. Later I came to realize these thoughts were not my own. This is what happens when the third eye opens, and I will address why this could be one of the dangers of opening your third eye without informing yourself before you open your third eye.
This third eye ability to read minds is not limited to people who are surrounding you. But people might be miles away from you and you may still read their minds or emotional state, you may hear when people talk about you, and many other things, but because we don’t know what it is we end up regarding it as a daydreaming or vivid imagination.
The Ability To See Future Events — Premonition
Another common ability that happens after the third eye opens is the ability to remote view, remote viewing is not limited to predict the future or seeing future events but it is easy to see remote places. If you are doing the exercises I have written you may already have this ability without knowing, and you may already be using this ability without even knowing you are using it. For example, there are many situations where I have written stories or talked about something jokingly later to find out that is the case.
The ability to heal yourself and others — Energy Healing
When your third eye opens you will have the ability to channel a lot amount of energy and heal yourself and others.
This could be confirmed by remote healers, shamans, or reiki masters. We don’t know much about this because we have never tried, we are taught to rely on modern healing modalities, therefore, we can’t heal ourselves naturally.
The ability to communicate with spirits. — Mediumship & Channeling
When my grandfather died, I saw him before even knowing he is already dead, usually, for me, they came through dreams. some other days he took me to different places and showed me when he was younger before I was born. Even when my former employee passed away I saw him a couple of times. He returned the favors and watched over me when I was in need of help. This is what happens when the third eye opens, you will be communicating with spirits especially from the people you are connected to.
The ability to sense energy and see the aura
What happens when the third eye opens is you will be able to see people’s auras. This is the energy layer surrounding every living thing, at first, they will come as imaginations, then they will gain more clarity and you will see the aura. Another effect is you will sense the energy around people, places, and items. this will help you to stay in the positive and vibrating places. You will naturally repel people with negative energy.
The Ability To Manifest More.
I have been practicing the law of attraction over the years, and for sure, the more energy you have the more you can manifest what you want. When the third eye opens it means you have the ability to channel more energy. And also you have a clear and focused mind this helps you to be able to visualize clear images and hold them in your mind without effort, as we all know clear visualization means faster and clearer results. Some other things manifest without you intending them to manifest that faster.
So far these are the abilities that happen when the third eye opens, if you do the exercises correctly I can assure you that you will have all these experiences as I did. But I wanted to explain a little bit on what are the dangers of opening the third eye.
What are the dangers of opening the third eye?
Usually overdoing something is always a danger, there are safer ways to open your third eye and take precautions. so you don’t regret opening your third eye.
- Opening a gate from the spiritual world; always remember when you open your third eye you are opening a door to seeing spirits, on most cases your loved one will try to communicate with you, so the safest way to open your third eye and not expect to allow negative entities to come to your space is to have positive intentions, be a good person in general, when you have positive vibrations negative entities won’t be attracted to you.
- Insanity: remember you might open your third eye and see higher levels of reality, depending on how prepared you are, this may drive you crazy and if you can’t control yourself it might make you insane. that’s why my exercise is meant to open the third eye gradually so you can take one step at a time and not worry about opening your channels too wide.
- Becoming anti-social; humans will always be humans, what happens when the third eye opens is you will start to have insights and higher knowledge, a sense of realization will awaken inside you, there are things you will find not good, and this may slow down your social interaction with people.
Some people’s energy might be draining you and you will feel that. this might cause you to back up from these people. which will make you become anti-social
