What is Qi anyway?
How to Maintain Good Qi

I am sure many readers out there have heard of the term Qi, mostly from Chinese Qigong masters, Reiki masters, or martial arts. The question remains, what exactly is it?
To understand Qi, we have to define what energy is.
Energy according to science.
- Energy is the capacity to do work.
- In addition, energy can exist in potential, kinetic, thermal, electrical, chemical, nuclear, and many other forms.
- According to science, energy cannot be created or destroyed but only transformed from one form to another.
- Energy is measurable.
The fundamental differences between science and spirituality are that spiritual things are experienced from within, while scientific things are externally observable. While physical energy mostly deals with physical things, Qi is mostly based on living things and tends to lean towards spirituality. However, physical energy is the last octave of manifestation of this Qi.

Qi has these characteristics
- It is sometimes called Mana, Prana, Baraka, Holy Spirit, Ki, Aura, Vibe, bliss, Ether, etc.
- The type of energy that is alive and conscious.
- There is bad Qi and good Qi.
- Qi is abundant in and around living things and mostly refered to as Aura.
- It is directed by the mind.
- Can heal and manifest things, transmit and receive information.
- Can permeate all things.
- Qi is multifaceted, meaning it manifests in different layers and dimensions.
If you practice energy work, you will notice that even your own thoughts are a manifestation of this Qi. This is because the mind receives and transmits energy. Therefore, even diseases are manifestations of stagnated or bad Qi.
Where does it come from?
If you are an observant person, you will notice that everyone has some sort of radiance. For example, certain people walk into a room full of people. You will notice sudden quietness, happiness, conflict, etc. Whenever someone touches a microphone, people pay attention and listen, there are people when they come to certain projects, things go south, or the project succeeds.
Humans mirror the structure of the universe. For this reason, we can answer the question where Qi originates from?
Qi is the radiance of higher spiritual deities. Because of this, we live within the parameters of these deities. So, when you hold constructive thoughts, you align with the benevolent spiritual deities. If you resonate with them, your life will gradually attract places and people of like mind.

How to maintain a good Qi?
The law of good health is flow. This means the more you let things flow in and through you, the more fresh and positive energy will flow through you. Forgiveness, gratitude, love, understanding, etc. These habits will allow positive Qi to circulate through you. On the contrary, if you hold a lot of grudges, resentment, anger, jealousy, and such, you stagnate your energy and create bad Qi.
Be mindful and in the present moment. Remember that thoughts are manifestations of Qi. Therefore, if you are always stuck and lost in your own thoughts, your body and mind are not in harmony, and you are not in the present moment.
Another thing to do is breathing exercises. This is because breathing will bring your attention to the present moment and bring fresh energy into your energy field.
The last thing you can do is to practice energy exercises daily. It is important to remember that your mind can direct this Qi and that your thoughts are manifestations of Qi. Therefore, if you do energy exercises, you can clear out stagnant energies and energy blockages in your energy field. There are numerous energy exercises that I will share in the coming days.
Doing this you will notice how you intuitively avoid negative energies, toxic people, and even books, TV shows, movies, and music that radiate negative energies. This is because they have bad Qi which repels or interferes with good Qi.
Thanks for reading, keep your Qi flowing.
