When You Flow, You Grow Creativity
The art of integration & Allowing
When I started writing here on Medium, I noticed how some people were struggling to adhere to the writing rules and regulations, and how there is a dogma on how one should do their creative work.
However, analytical mind is the opposite of creativity, so I wrote an article explaining why when your mind is full of concepts and ideas it becomes a useless brick, that can only be used once and cemented on that one corner of the wall.
Don’t get me wrong, because I can be as analytical as much as I can become creative. But over time I discovered there is a part of me that is much bigger than my definition of this self, I discovered that when I am relaxed, new and fresh ideas flow. Whenever I take a short or long road trip, solutions begin to flow smoothly, new ideas and inspiration flow, when I take shower the same thing happens.
Then I realized that relaxation is the key to solving a lot of problems. And that we all have access to this infinite intelligence that we are unaware of.
Look at it this way, if you are a part of a community, in your community, there is a specialization of different skills, that each member of the community is there for a specialized skill, one could be a handyman, another one a doctor, a police office, a leader and so on.
But most of us without realizing we discord this connection by trying to do everything on our own then we end up getting the job done wrong. We end up trying to be a do-it-all and knows-it-all. Trying to fix our vehicles on our own, do our own yard, fix the electrical malfunction, plumbing, and many other tasks.
But when we allow and accept the entire community to be part of our life, then we grow, we focus on what we can do best and let others in our life offer their service to us, therefore we have accepted our community as part of us.
this example is that of an external world. When it is only a reflection of the inner world. That when you don’t cling so much to what you know, then another insightful information will flow through you.
How to maximize the flow of your creativity.
Whenever you find yourself stuck and unable to continue your creative work, here are a couple of things you can do:
- Take a break, never underestimate short or long breaks. You can take a vacation, take a walk, go talk to someone. when you come back you would have rejuvenated your energy to continue your work.
- Take your mind off the topic, when the mind is so focused on a specific topic, it is hard for new ideas to flow through, so when you have to take your mind off that topic, it is easy for new ideas to come through.
- Learn to tap into the infinite intelligence, you do this by learning how to channel.
- Accept to see things through other people’s eyes. When you become open-minded to the point of allowing other people to show you how they perceive the world, you will gain more insight and be able to see one reality from different angles.
- Become a kid again, when I started channeling I simply couldn’t believe my own mind or ideas that flow on my mind, but later on, as I researched I realized that what I used to assume as imagination are things that can be verified. When you think like a little child you are innocent, less judgemental to dismissing anything quickly. This way you will tolerate any insight easily.
Conclusion
I believe in this age, creativity has more demand than most academic professions. The reason is that a lot of people spend most of their time watching things. If you invest your time in growing your creativity lots of rewards lay ahead.
