Why do I find it Hard to Write Well Researched Articles?
Creativity is Spontaneous
In this modern-day and age, almost all information is freely available online. With the rise of A.I and their grandpa Google, the world is so convenient to the point of becoming the World of WALL-E, where we wouldn’t need to get up from our sofa for the rest of our lives.
Since I was little, I was a natural rebellious, I enjoy doing things the way I see fit. Because after all, every person has their bodies, they can move in any direction they want, they can hold anything they like as long as it doesn’t violate the will of others, (including the animals).
Why do I Write?
A lot of people write for various reasons. Some are inspired, some are helpers, some explainers and some want money and fame.
To me, writing is all about self-expression. As in this Universe, I am pretty sure in this lifetime there is only one version of Me, and the exact reason for this one version to come on this World is because it is needed. But once this individuality is diluted by other people’s opinions, then nothing is original.
The Death of Creativity.
Those who do creative work would agree with me that, the moment you stop that trend of thoughts, the creativity dies with it. While writing a researched article is good and informative, most of my writings are a little bit of both. I write from personal experience and personal insights.
I like to let information flow without interruption because the flow is vibration, and the vibration is the substance that connects all.
Maintaining the Originality.
I remember about a decade ago, people were starting to get used to google things, where one day it just ‘clicked’ on my mind that, soon enough we won’t be thinking of original solutions to do anything anymore because our neural networks will be linked to googling things.
Back in the day, if someone faces a challenge, they would sit down to think for a solution, they would fire up all their neurons to come up with a solution. Though it might take days, once they acquire a solution there is a sense of reward attached to that accomplishment.
Then you see that writing to me is about self-discovery, personal growth, building a mental muscle, maintaining originality, and self-expression.
How does Writing Relate to Self-Discovery?
People say; “You won’t know the depth of the water until you have jumped in it and swim.”
Almost all of the greatest inventors had to do a solitary and a personal quest into a specific problem until they discovered a solution to come back into the society to brag about it. So for me writing is about maintaining the purity of an idea and present it as intended to the public, without dilution of other’s points of view.
Because even though my opinions might be wrong, I still have to discover that about myself, so by maintaining the original and intended Idea, I can always reflect on myself to grow and improve. But if I hide behind other researchers, I will remain an empty shell.
What’s up With Self-Expression?
If you are in your early 20’s wait until you are 35 to appreciate the importance of self-expression. Even though I don’t buy the idea that the brain stops developing at the age of 35, but you will see most people after the age of 35, if they didn’t get a chance to express themselves when they were younger, they would become passive and are pushed around because they are incompetent and too timid to express themselves, they stay within the box of assigned rules to keep their jobs and never dare to move forward.
Expressing yourself does not mean being arrogant, but showing the true colors of what you are at that moment, this should not be misunderstood because by expressing your inner-most feelings and thoughts, it is easy to develop self-confidence. And when you have self-confidence you will not be afraid to say something even if it is not right, you will also become aware of others who are stuck behind the ideas of others to bring them out of their closets.
Nurture My Soul For Growth
I think this is a better example to explain my point, Assume you have a self-sustained village, where they produce everything for their community. But what they produce is not of good quality, I mean clothes are made out of animal skins, the tools are poorly crafted, and houses are built out of clay and hay. But overall the community thrives, is happy and everyone is healthy.
A modernist comes there and starts yelling, “these guys are so primitive because of so and so”, He tells them how he lives and compares his lifestyle with theirs based on in points of view. This opinion damages their self-confidence and trust in their ways of living. In the end, these criticism and opinions create doubt about themselves and their entire ways of living, so these villagers give up everything and start adapting to live in modern society’s style.
They start importing stuff, new clothing, new shoes, building material, and so on. But little did they know that by doing this, they have obliterated their entire ecosystem, they have killed their village, because these things are not free, they have to work to buy these things, and have to go to school to learn how to work, they end up living in unhappy, the rate of crime, diseases, and all other modern problems comes as a package of living in that lifestyle.
Had they stayed true to their ways of living, they would eventually develop to reach a developed stage. This is the same to an individual, though my understanding of the world is not as advances and it is still primitive, I have to stay true to it to maintain my originality, otherwise, I am just an empty shell that passes information from other researchers and dumps it to your face.
To wrap things up, doing a researched article is not for me, but this does not mean it is not for you as we are all different. There are those who are what they call right-brained-oriented people that see things in a different way than those who are left-brained-oriented people who are analytical and practical.
The key here is to accept yourself in full to be able to perform at an optimal level. You must nurture your inner-self for your spirit to grow.
