Why I Gave Up on Science Long time ago

It is no doubt that science has brought about a lot of innovation and technological advancement to humanity. It has simplified our lifestyle and made us closer to each other. 

Earlier pioneers of scientific methods had good intentions towards humanity, but later it became more about money, profit, and power. This then stagnated the progress and innovation. 

I used to love science as a little child, but as I grew up my passion towards science and technology got stained. 

Institutionalization of education.

Though it may not be clear to you, the education system is very militaristic, competitive and violence towards intelligence. The way we learn and acquire knowledge is very violent, we are given Homeworks and assignments with a reward or punishment mentality. As a result, children only do it to please other people while it kills their inner curiosity, and creativity. We go to school so that we can get a better job instead of being able to achieve our dreams and help humanity, we end up living in fear of this looming apocalyptic future.

Profit over humanity.
